This is a VERY vibrant red and would be beautiful sewn into a gown for Valentine’s Day or the Christmas holidays.
If cut in half, lengthwise and hemmed on the cut edges, there would be plenty to drape softly over doors/archways for a party. Just use your imagination.
Beautiful uncut polyester taffeta garment fabric. Light weight and would be perfect for sewing into evening wear, costumes, doll clothes, or crafts. It is soft to the touch and is clear of any tears, stains or blemishes. However, on the one uncut end, there are about 3 “marks” where someone used, what looked like, masking tape to hold the fabric to the roll. That can easily be cut away/around.
It is very soft and would lend itself well to a billowy or flowing garment. I don’t usually wash evening fabric, but I believe this would wash well in cold water on a gentle cycle before cutting and either dried on a low dryer setting or on a clothesline out of the sun.
It is extremely soft and may easily be draped over a shoulder. If you were to use it for a costume, it is ideal for a Grecian-styled one or similar.
I am a professional seamstress and recommend that, when sewing this fabric, you use either a fine or ballpoint needle. You will have better end results with the garment/craft you will be making if you do.
It has been removed from the roll to measure the yardage and will come to you draped carefully over a large plastic hanger.
