Description FN / Browning A5 12GA FN Manufactured 1929 Pre-War FirstChoice FireArms, Inc. has for your consideration an early FN A5. Overall condition is good considering its age. I’m assuming it’s been refinished at some point in its life, as the finish just seems too good compared to the wood. If this is the case, they did a fine job. All markings are still very clear and legible, even the numbers on the screws. The bore is in great shape. The wood surfaces have some issues: typical crack in A5 forearm, and on the top side of the wrist area along each side of the receiver’s tang has been broken and glued back in at some point. All of this should be found in the photos. Overall, a cool old pre-war A5 that has good bones about it. Any questions, please reach out!
