| Mainly looking for 9mm pistols: Beretta 92 or PX4 series Walther PDP 4" Glock 19/45 Springfield Echelon 45ACP caveat: A 1911 with ambi safety About this P226: US-made circa 2011 Sig P226 with picatinny rail, 9mm 2x 15rd OEM and 4x new 17rd Mecgar flush magazines New E2 grip installed, OEM grips included New 3 dot sights, OEM sights included I bought it used so I replaced the recoil spring and firing pin spring, as well as upgraded the firing pin retaining pin to the new style. Extractor is sharp so I didn't replace that. This has the double action Kellerman trigger, which has a smooth double action pull, and two resets. If you reset fully by letting the trigger all the way forward, you once again have a nice 5-6lb smooth pull, but if you short stroke the reset (under duress let's say), the short reset will give you a short but heavier (maybe 7-8ish lb) pull. More oriented towards police work and concealed carry, so you're always carrying safely with the hammer decocked, but you can't mess it up when it counts. It is convertible to the standard DA/SA if you buy the parts. |
