AIRCRAFT Detailer/Wheelman
Not your everyday typical car washing job!
Interested in taking your detailing skills and techniques to the next LEVEL? We’re talking FLIGHT LEVEL 350!
Midwest Aviation is seeking a unique DETAILED individual to put that showroom touch on late model airplanes. This requires everything from degreasing the underside of the aircraft, washing the exterior, high speed buffing, waxing, as well as assisting with body and paint work. ATTENTION TO DETAIL is an absolute MUST. We’re in search of that individual that has an eye for cleanliness and is self-motivated to put THEIR OWN stamp of approval on the airplane before the keys are handed to the anxiously awaiting owner.
…automobiles, boats, and jetskis, are not out of the question either!
Requirements:
• 18 years or older and possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test due to working in a TSA/FAA secure airport environment and having access to the airport ramp (aircraft parking).
• MUST have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation so you can be counted on daily.
• Prior body and paint experience is a huge plus but NOT required.
• Be able to operate a highspeed buffer paying careful attention around rivet heads.
• Quality workmanship and attention to detail are a MUST!
• Applicants must NOT be afraid to get their hands dirty and ask questions whenever in doubt.
• MUST be on time, dependable, and follow company policies safely at all times.
• Weekend work and some overtime MIGHT be needed in a time crunch situation but is not the normal.

Hourly pay will range from $15 to $25+ per hour depending on qualifications.
