    Holy Grail for a Marlin 336 SC (sporting carbine). 30-30 SN:  H298xx the H is for the year 1951.  Has a Waffle Top that HAS NOT been tapped for a scope. Original! JM marked barrel (original Marlin Production before Remington took over Marlin) Big plus for collectors. It has a Pre-Lock safety, Bullseye on the Walnut stock is still in place. Stands for “Walnut Stock” not a place to screw in a sling mount! Solid Walnut Wood is excellent! Has the optional Vintage Williams FP 36 (fool proof) peep site + $125.00. Finish near MINT, great wood. Overall NRA Excellent+  $1,500.00 CASH! I would consider trades for High End Handguns, WW2 firearms but cash is king! You will not find a nicer Marlin JM 1951 anywhere!!! I have had this for YEARS!
