September 19, 2014 - Help Videos! - We have created a few useful videos that help explain how to use the VCI Classifieds. These videos should provide a much easier and informative method of providing help on how to upload images and place new ads. At the moment only videos covering the "desktop" version of the Classifieds are being created. In the future we may create another set of videos for the mobile version of the VCI Classifieds.
August 8, 2014 - Maps! - A significant feature has been added to ads. Your ads can now include a map. You are not required to include a map with your ad. This feature is completely optional. If you would like to add a map to your ads go to My Account and specify your location on the map. This will set the default location for your ads. Each ad can have a different map location if you sell items located in different places.
March 14, 2014 - Buyer Beware - VCI highly recommends when purchasing a high priced item from another person you keep a detailed record of the transaction. Print a copy of the ad, write down the names of the other people as well as their phone numbers, any addresses which you visit, etc.. Too often someone purchases a broken or stolen item for which they find out after its too late and no longer have the contact information for the other party. Always practice caveat emptor or "buyer beware".
October 14, 2014 - On, Thursday, October 16, we will be at the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Trade Show in the Expo Center. Enter the drawing for the Classifieds give-a-way.
July 1, 2014 - e-Tel - You may have noticed the "Powered By e-Tel" addition to the logo across the top. Effective July 1, 2014, VCI was sold to e-Tel, LLC. Aside from planned feature additions no significant changes are planned. Please note the e-Tel, LLC office is located at 607 Broadway in Paducah, KY.
May 22, 2014 - New Feature - A new feature has been added called "Auto Expire". This feature can be found on the "New Ad" and "Update Ad" pages. By selecting a date the ad will be automatically removed on the day you select. This feature is great for anyone holding an event or needing an ad for a short time.
April 15, 2014 - New Category - A "Racing" category has been added to the Classifieds with five subcategories. As this category becomes populated with ads we will likely add more subcategories as needed.
April 8, 2014 - Android Phones - Thanks to the help of a customer we were able to resolve a problem some Android phone users were having. Apparently, some Android phones upload images differently than other phones. We were able to track down this problem and correct it. If you have an Android phone and were previously unable to upload photos we ask that you try it again.
March 17, 2014 - Pricing - I often see people quoting incorrect information regarding what we charge to use our website. The correct information is shown below.

- Signup Fee - $5.99 (ONE TIME FEE)
- Place up to 8 ads per month (additional ads are 99 cents each)
- Include up to 3 images per ad
- Plain text ads
- No signup fee
- $29.97 per quarter
- Place up to 200 ads per month
- Include up to 9 images per ad
- Rich text ads

March 7, 2014 - Terms of Service - The Terms of Service has been modified. Specifically, the "Image Policy" section.
February 18, 2014 - New Feature - We have a new feature! Last week we polled nearly 300 customers. These 300 had recently hit their 8 ad limit. They were asked if they'd be interested in a new feature allowing them to post additional ads for a small fee. The response was an overwhelming "Yes!". This new feature has been installed and is now available. This feature isn't visible until you have hit your 8 ad limit and try to place another ad. At that time you will be offered to pay a 99 cent fee to place another ad. These we refer to as "paid ads". The "paid ads" are exempt from the 8 ad limit. They can be renewed each month at no additional cost. They have the same rules as normal ads (ie: expire after 30 days if not renewed, 3 images per ad). You can purchase as many as you need at 99 cents each or purchase a "bundle" and save 10% ($9.90).
